Men’s mechanical · Women’s and unisex quartz

Gears on show, or quartz on time

Every men’s watch here is mechanical and shows part of its movement, from full skeleton dials to a window on the balance wheel. The women’s and unisex watches are quartz, with one button cell fitted before they ship.

Choose what makes it tick

Every listing says which movement is inside. The case size, the water resistance rating and, on a mechanical watch, the power reserve are listed whenever the maker gives them.

Automatic and hand-wound movements, most behind skeleton dials. Some add a sun and moon disc, an open balance wheel, a tachymeter bezel or a full calendar.

Round, square, oval and rhombus cases in gold, rose gold, silver or two-tone, on leather, mesh, link bracelets or a slider chain, some set with rhinestones.

Mostly plain dials and slim cases in silver, gold, gunmetal and black, plus one watch with no hands: a turning disc marks the hour.

Two kinds of movement

A sweeping hand or a ticking one

If a watch has a seconds hand, it gives the movement away: on a mechanical watch it glides in small, quick steps, and on a quartz watch it jumps once a second.

Mechanical: the men’s watches

  • Automatic models wind themselves while you wear them; the hand-wound model takes a few turns of the crown once a day.
  • No battery, ever. A watch that has stopped needs winding, not a new cell.
  • Off the wrist, an automatic runs until its power reserve is spent. The listing gives that figure.
  • It gains or loses some seconds a day, and timing inside the maker’s stated tolerance is normal.

QUARTZ

Quartz: the women’s and unisex watches

  • One button cell, fitted before the watch ships.
  • It can arrive with the crown pulled out to save the cell. Push the crown in and the hands start.
  • No winding at all. When the cell runs down after months of wear, a watch shop or jeweler fits a new one.
  • It keeps much closer time than a mechanical watch, and drifting by minutes within 30 days of delivery counts as a defect.

Shipping from China

Your watch reaches you 14-17 business days after the order day

The order day is the business day your payment goes through by 5:00 PM Eastern Time. Payments that clear after that hour, on Saturdays and Sundays or on federal holidays are dated to the next business day.

Business days 2-3

An independent fulfillment partner in China packs the watch and hands the parcel to the carrier with import duty and customs fees already paid. The tracking link reaches you by email that day, though for the first 3 business days the tracking page may show nothing at all.

In transit

An international flight, then a US carrier from customs to your door: 12-14 business days. Two or more watches in one order may come in separate parcels, and the extra parcels cost nothing.

Business days 14-17

The parcel arrives with nothing to pay. A customs inspection, a full cargo flight, a snowstorm or the late-November and December rush can push the trip beyond 17 business days.

Delivery area

Shipping covers the lower 48 and Washington, DC, and every parcel needs a street address. No parcels go to Alaska, Hawaii or any US territory such as Guam or Puerto Rico, to military APO, FPO or DPO mail, to PO boxes or to addresses abroad.

Shipping charge

$6 per order while the watches come to less than $299, and free from $299. Discount codes come off first; sales tax and the $6 never count toward the line.

Fixing an address or canceling

Write to contact@zyntrie.com within 24 hours of checkout, before the parcel reaches the carrier, to fix the address or cancel. A cancellation sends the full order total back within 2 business days.

After it arrives

Keep the films on until you are sure

You have 30 days from delivery to ask for a return, for any reason. Try the watch on with the protective films still on the case back and the clasp, and keep the box, the manual and the tags.

Write to contact@zyntrie.com with the order ID. Send a complete request and a return authorization comes back from support within 1 business day. Only that email gives the return address, and the watch should be posted within 10 days of receiving it. Sending back a watch you no longer want means you buy the postage, and the order’s $6 shipping is not returned. A damaged, faulty, wrong or misdescribed watch goes back on a prepaid label.

Restocking costs $0. At most 7 business days after the watch passes inspection, the money heads back to the card or the PayPal account used at checkout. Your bank or PayPal can then take 5-10 more business days before it shows.

A watch that can come back

  • Worn no further than a try-on
  • Protective films still on the case back and clasp
  • Strap not cut or punched
  • Every removed bracelet link sent back
  • Box, manual and tags in the parcel

Before calling a watch faulty, wind it if it is mechanical, or push the crown in if it is quartz. Report a fault within 30 days of delivery, and transit damage or a wrong watch within 14 days, with photos.

Before you order

Winding, water and the wait

No. Each one is mechanical: the automatics wind from the motion of your wrist, and the hand-wound model winds by the crown. When one stops, wind it and set the time.

Check the crown first. A quartz watch can travel with the crown pulled out to save the button cell; push it in and the watch starts. If it still will not run, or stops within 30 days of delivery, report it with a photo or a short video and it is handled as a defect.

Splashes and hand washing, but not swimming. 5 ATM (50 m) allows light swimming and 10 ATM (100 m) swimming and snorkeling. Keep the crown pushed in near water, and never press it under water.

Wrap a soft tape or a strip of paper around your wrist where the watch will sit and compare the length with the fit given in the listing. A listed case diameter allows 1 mm either way. A jeweler can take links out of a metal bracelet; keep every link, since a return has to include them.

Plan on 14-17 business days after the order day. Packing in China takes 2-3 of them and the trip itself 12-14. Weekend and federal holiday payments, and any made after 5:00 PM Eastern Time, are dated to the next business day.

No. Import duty and customs fees are paid before the parcel leaves China, so nothing is collected at your door. Sales tax for your address, where it applies, shows up at checkout before you pay.

No. Zyntrie does not sell copies or imitations of other brands’ watches.
